Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a trained professional. It can help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and find your own solutions to problems, make effective changes or find ways of coping with your problems. Person Centered Therapy is based on the view that everyone has the capacity and desire for personal growth and change given the right conditions of unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence.
Once you get in touch I will explain how we can work together and agree on an individual contract. Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes. How many session you have will depend on your individual circumstances. We can work together to help you come to terms with any negative feelings and to change and develop in your own way. I won’t tell you what you should think or do. I trained in person centered counselling and apply integrative elements of working using techniques and tools from different modalities to tailor an individual approach for you.
